As Energy Southeast’s Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Logan Remson’s responsibilities include the following: maintaining the Energy Southeast cash flow program; overseeing all accounting functions of Energy Southeast; providing the Energy Southeast Board of Directors, management, lenders and rating agencies with accurate financial information; ensuring that the bond trust accounts are properly funded and all bond resolution requirements are met; ensuring that Energy Southeast financial records are audited annually; ensuring the accurate and timely payment of all Energy Southeast accounts payable; billing procedures and practices related to the Authority’s revenue policies and contracts; maintaining all property records; overseeing the Energy Southeast Risk Management Program, including all required insurance; managing the Energy Southeast investment program; and directing the preparation of the Energy Southeast annual work plan and budget.
Mr. Remson also serves as Energy Southeast’s Human Resources Officer. His duties in this position include directing the preparation of the Energy Southeast payroll, managing the Energy Southeast benefits program, and ensuring that all labor laws and H.R.-related company policies are properly followed.
Mr. Remson joined Energy Southeast in October 2024 after a nine-year tenure with public accounting firm Jackson Thornton & Co., P.C. in Montgomery, AL. Mr. Remson is a Certified Public Accountant, and a graduate of Auburn University at Montgomery with degrees of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting and Master of Business Administration.
